SPHERICAL SUPPORT TYPE ANTENNA MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fabricate a small-sized and lightweight antenna support mechanism which supports a transmitting and receiving antenna by supporting an antenna support part with an antenna support fixed part by a pair mechanism such as a spherical bearing and driving the antenna support part by a direct-acting driving mechanism provided to the support fixed part through a connecting rod. SOLUTION: Transmitting and receiving antennas 1 and 11 are fitted to the antenna support part 41. The antenna support 41 is constituted by forming a support spherical surface 42 forming an outer ring 48 facing the coupling part 120 of the connecting rod 92 of a Y-axis direct-acting driving mechanism 90 and the inner ring 47 of the antenna support fixed part 55. The coupling part 120 of the connecting rod 92 receives a force from the Y-axis direct-acting driving mechanism 90 by a spherical slide bearing 57. This Y-axis direct-acting driving mechanism 90 extends and contracts and then the antenna support part 41 rotates on a Y axis having the center of rotation at the center of the spheres of the inner ring 47. Similarly, when the X axis and Y axis are both driven, an antenna surface can be directed to an arbitrary direction in the sky.
