PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a conduction failure by absorbing a step caused by the wear of a contact. SOLUTION: A slit 20 opened to the front face and both the side faces is formed in a supporting member 15 and a tongue piece 8d of a moving contact 8 is inserted into it. A projecting part 21 is formed nearly at the center of the lower surface inside the slit 20, and a hole part 8e for inserting the projecting part 21 is formed nearly at the center of the tongue piece 8d. When the moving contact 8 is supported by the supporting member 15, a gap is created between the tongue piece 8d and the upper surface of the slit 20. Therefore, even if a step is produced between each set of a fixed contact 3a and a moving contact 8c, the step can be absorbed by the gap. As a result, even if there is a step like the above, any couple of the fixed contact 3a and the moving contact 8c can be abutted on and electrically connected with each other, so that the occurrence of a conduction failure can be prevented.
