PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading and storing device capable of storing and managing a film image and digital image data for every group without needing an especially complicated operation. SOLUTION: This device 10 is applied to a dedicated image reading and storing device that can easily be used by a general user and provided with a function which groups and stores a digital image data group on the basis of specially digitized time. Then, digital image data recorded on a memory card or a film image digitized by an image scanner part 20 is inputted, and grouping processing (folder system or link system) that performs grouping is executed on the basis of the digitized time.
