PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a master/slave communication system capable of specifying a device producing a trouble. SOLUTION: When the device whose power source is to be controlled, occuring report factors can not be detected, a power source control device 1 sends a lamp turning-on command effective for all devices 2 to n, whose power source is to be controlled, to the devices 2 to n independently of the set contents of the device address of the devices 2 to n. Then the device 1 sends a lamp turning-off command to respective controlled devices 2 to n by specifying the device address of the devices 2 to n. Since the device incapable of reading a correct device address among the devices 2 to n due to the error in the setting of its own device address or the failure of a device address setting switches 22 to n2 can not execute an instruction based on the lamp turning-off command outputted from the device 1, the lamp of the device is turned on as it is.
