PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving simulator capable of smoothly and correctly reproducing vehicle movement at the time of an automatic driving. SOLUTION: Target unit vectors tangential to a course at plural reference points on a predetermined virtual traveling course are stored. The virtual present position of a virtually moving vehicle in a coordinate system expressing the virtual traveling course and a virtual volocity vector at this virtual present position are momently calculated (3). The most proximity reference point being in the most proximity to the virtual present position at the front side of the advancing direction of the virtually moving vehicle is calculated from among plural reference points (4). A control parameter corresponding to a virtual vehicle movement is calculated so that the unit vector of the virtual velocity vector coincides with the target unit vector at the most proximity reference point (5). Then, at least one side of the actuator for the operation of a main body supporting an operator and a video display part is to be controlled by a control signal corresponding to the control parameter.
