PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic image display system capable of displaying while maintaining image qualities in a variety of original images. SOLUTION: In this electronic image display system comprising an electronic image drawing device 1 represented by a computer, communication cables 10, 11, 13, and image display device 2, an image to be reconstituted is separated into constitutional gradation data 19 and image quality data 12 in the image drawing device 1, and the separated gradation data 19 and image quality data 12 are transmitted to the image display device 2 through the same or separated communication cables 10, 13, and an image is displayed, based on the gradation data 19 and the image quality data 12 received by the image display device 2. By using this electronic image display system, a part where image quality information and gradation information coexist in a vague form and are processed and transmitted in a vague form hitherto is improved, and reproduction of a high-fidelity image to the image quality of an original image is enabled.
