PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture storage device which is advantageous to miniaturizing the device scale, and reducing the costs of the device. SOLUTION: Plural(3) kinds of picture data are inputted from input terminals 21-23, and stored in a second memory means 12. The plural kinds of picture data are read from the second memory means 12, and stored in a first memory means 11 with a large capacity. The writing and reading of the plural kinds of picture data for the first memory 11 is operated by time-division. The plural kinds of picture data read from the first memory means 11 are stored in a third memory means 13. The plural kinds of picture data can be read from the third memory means 13 in a proper timing, and outputted to output terminals 31-33. A memory control means 14 can synchronously control all the first to third memory means 11-13, and also asynchronously control the write and read of the second and third memory means 12 and 13.
