<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two-component developer showing good fluidity even with a small amt. of an additive and having good fixing property with substantially little contamination of a photoreceptor or filming. SOLUTION: In the two-component developer consisting of at least a magnetic carrier and a toner, the average particle size of the magnetic carrier is 35 to 100μm, and the toner contains one or more kinds of external additives. The proportion of the additives is 0.3 to 1.5 wt.% of the toner. The toner particles contain toner particles having <=5μm particle size by <=15 number %, and toner particles having twice or more diameter of the volume average particle size by <=5 vol.%. The number average particle diameter D25 and D75 at 25% and 75% of the cumulative number distribution, respectively, show the relation of 0.60<=D25/D75<=0.80. The volume average particle diameter is 6.0 to 11.5μm.</p> |
