PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device provided with constitution by which stable electric power supply and electrically conductive state between a resistive exothermic body and an electrode member being a power supplying member thereto can be secured at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a fixing apparatus 9, a fixing nip part is formed of a heating fixing roller 9A which is rotating-driven and a pressure roller 9B which is brought into contact with the heating fixing roller 9A by prescribed pressure and is freely rotatable, a transfer material on which a toner image is carried is inserted into and is passed through the fixing nip part, and thereby the toner image is subjected to heating-melting and is fixed on a surface of the transfer material. In the image forming device provided with this fixing apparatus 9, the heating fixing roller 9A is laminated with an electrically insulating layer 18 and the resistive exothermic body 19, the electrode member 21 which is touchable to the resistive exothermic body 19 is fitted thereto and the electrode member 21 is press-fixed to the resistive exothermic body 19 to constitute a current-flowing electric passage to the resistive exothermic body 19.
