<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable obtaining a resistance value which are adjusted with high precision by using a peculiar trimming shape while trimming trenches belonging to a double L type are formed in a chip resistor. SOLUTION: A chip resistor A has a thick film resistor 12 which is formed on an electrical continuity section C of both electrode terminals 11, 11 over both ends of a chip main body 10. In the thick film resistor 12, L-shaped trimming trenches B1, B2 which are used for rough adjustment and for fine adjustment of resistance value are independently formed. In this case, the respective trimming trenches B1, B2 have first linear parts B1a, B2a which are formed while cutting is performed from one edge 12a side of the thick film resistor 12 in a width direction W and second linear parts B1b, B2b which are formed following the first linear parts and bent to an electrical continuity section direction L of the thick film resistor 12. The first linear part B2a for fine adjustment is shorter than the first linear part B1a for rough adjustment, and the second linear part B2b for fine adjustment is formed so as to intersect the first linear part B1a for rough adjustment.</p> |
