PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing device and a process cartridge produced by the method for joining the frame of a developing container and the frame of a toner container in order to prevent deformation due to ultrasonic welding. SOLUTION: A hotmelt 103 is applied on a part of or around heat generators 101b, 101c which generate heat when a current is applied, and the hotmelt 103 is housed in faces 10k, 10m to be joined. The heat generators 101b, 101c on both ends of the hotmelt 103 are exposed and a voltage is applied thereon. Thus, the hotmelt 103 is molten to join the containers 10a, 10f. |
