<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and time to take for communication by performing a reception processing by automatically selecting an optimal line by considering characteristics of data to be received and characteristics of each line. SOLUTION: A received HTML file is stored in a file storage device 15, the contents of the received HTML file are analyzed by a file analyzing device 16, all pieces of link information to other files are extracted and stored in a link information storage device 17. And addresses in a link file are successively read from the link information storage device 17, pieces of header information of all link files are acquired by a file receiver 14 and stored on the link information storage device 17 together with the addresses of corresponding link files. Next, the address and the header information of the link file are read from the link information storage device 17, the file size of the header information is compared with a predetermined threshold, when the file is larger than the threshold, a satellite line is set as a usable state by controlling a line selector 13 and when the file to be acquired by the header information of the link file is smaller than the threshold, a telephone line is used.</p> |
