PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of the alarm function of a plug type switch by preventing the alarm function from malfunctioning and visually displaying the working of the function for malfunction prevention. SOLUTION: A lock knob 7 is sandwiched between an upper housing 1 and a lower housing 2 and constituted slidably on a knob rail 2A. The lock knob 7 is slid as shown by the arrow (upward in the figure) to insert the tip 7F of the lock knob 7 into a cut part 6A of a plug 6, which is thus prevented from falling, thereby preventing malfunction. When malfunction is reset, the lock knob 76 is slid as shown by the arrow (downward in the figure).
