<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the switching time from an operating device to a standby device and to relieve the load required for switching. SOLUTION: A host processor 11 in an exchange 1 as a host device has a link management table 111 that manages the operating state of an level 2 controller L2C 12 that is a subordinate device, a link management table access section 112 and a bulk instruction issue section 113, updates the state of the link management table 111 at the occurrence and completion of a call at a terminal 2, references the link management table 11 via the link management table access section 112 in the case of switching to a standby L2C to a issue a bulk instruction. Each L2C has a bulk instruction processing section 121 and sequentially processes a plurality of received instructions when receiving the bulk instruction from the host processor 11.</p> |
