PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the wobbling of a surface at the time of rotation within a permissible range by machining the contact surfaces of a turntable, a drive section and a disk which is a body to be rotated and is coated and cured with a resin after the assembly of a rotary drive assembly. SOLUTION: A spindle motor 1 of a DC brushless motor has a base bracket 10, a stator 11 fixed thereto, a rotor 12 freely rotatably supporting the same and the turntable 13. The turntable 13 closes the top end of a rotor frame 30 and is formed integrally therewith. The central part of the turntable has a circular projection 13a which engages its central hole and has a mounting hole 13b for press fitting of a revolving shaft 20 in the central part. After the turn table is assembled to the rotary drive assembly, the resin is applied on the turntable 13 to form a layer 40 for correcting the wobbling of the surface. The disk contact part is formed by curing this resin and thereafter, this contact surface is cut out by machining. The disk contact surface is cut out after the assembly to the rotary drive assembly and, therefore, the accuracy of the wobbling of the surface of the turntable 13 may be improved.
