PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deciphering device realizing common use of a ciphering element and a deciphering element in an operational circuit as well as being capable of corresponding to deciphering of continuously received data. SOLUTION: A deciphering device is provided with an operational core 11 which executes a prescribed deciphering algorithm and a ciphering algorithm for data inputs by using a work key and outputs the result, a first register 12 which stores, delays and outputs the input data with every data block of 64 bit unit, a first selector 13 which selects the input data and the output of the first register 12 and a prescribed initial value (a CBC initial value) and outputs, a second register 14 which stores the output of the operational core, a selector 15 which selects the output of the second resistor and the output of the operational core and outputs, and an adder 16 which executes an exclusive logic AND processing with the second register and the first selector and outputs.
