PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily hold a contact point protection cap between a camera side and an accessory side and to prevent it from being lost by providing a connecting member coupled with a camera main body with a holding member to which the body protection cap for covering a body contact point is attached. SOLUTION: The connecting member 6a has a nearly T-shaped cross section and is constituted of a mold main body 3, an external contact point 4, a lead wire 4a, an attaching male screw 7 and a cord 5. An attaching male screw 7 and a female screw 3b are provided on both sides of the upper part of the member 6a, and the member 6a is fixed to the camera main body with the screw 7. In the case of using the member 6a, the body protection cap 2 is detached from the camera main body and the member 6a is connected to the camera main body by the screw 7. Next, the male screw 2a of the cap 2 is fit in the screw 3b provided in the mold 3. Thus, the loss of the cap 2 can be avoided.
