PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make photographable a subject so that its movement may look natural by controlling the timing of flashing in a slow flash synchronization using a lens shutter camera. SOLUTION: A built-in flash 16 of the camera 10 is flashed to execute a slow flash synchronization comparatively long in exposure time. The flash timing of the flash 16 is controlled in accordance with the running direction of an automobile. The operation mode of the flash 16 is switched by a mode changeover switch 11 so that the mode may be switched to a pre-synchronization mode to be flashed when the shutter is controlled to be open, or a post- synchronization mode to be flashed when the shutter is controlled to be closed. By switching the operation mode to the post-synchronization mode when the automobile runs in a direction shown by an arrow C, the track of the back light of the automobile is photographed from the start of exposing, and the car body is photographed at the end of the exposure time. |
