<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference spring for energizing plural sizes and kinds of data cartridges. SOLUTION: A cartridge picker assembly 12 is provided with a frame 50 having first and second side walls 52 and 54 separated from each other. Cartridge guiding surfaces 126, 162 and 164 are related to the second side wall 54 of the frame 50, and substantially parallel to the second side wall. A spring assembly for pressing a data cartridge in the cartridge picker assembly 12 is provided with a flexible member 60 loaded on the first side wall 52, and a roller rotatably attached to the flexible member 60. The roller is adapted to be rolled and engaged with the cartridge loaded in the picker assembly 12.</p> |
