PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air treating method by ion, which is capable of conditioning indoor air in the minimum supplying condition of outdoor air and obtaining the satisfactory result of ionization without producing any sudden and undesirable by-product (ozone O3, for example) in a significant level under all operating conditions. SOLUTION: The magnitude of ionization power is determined by an electric control device 12 based on a value obtained by an air flow rate sensor 4, an in-air moisture sensor 5 and one or a plurality of sets of air quality sensors 11, 24 or (a) oxidizable air constituent in air to be treated, (b) a relative humidity in the air to be treated and (c) a flow rate or a supplying flow rate of air to be treated. |
