PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of communications equipment. SOLUTION: The two-wire four-wire conversion circuit, that connects a transmission circuit 11 and a reception circuit 12 to a transmission line 13, is configured with an operational amplifier 24 without the use of a hybrid transformer. A signal S24, corresponding to a transmission signal S11 outputted from a transmitter 11a, is applied in common to both input terminals of the operational amplifier 24, and a signal S41 corresponding to a received signal S13 is applied only to one input terminal of the operational amplifier 24. Thus, a signal corresponding to the transmission signal S11 is not given to the reception circuit 12.
