PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a test from being disabled owing to a drop in line voltage even when self-hold type fire sensors connected to the same sensor line are placed in operation successively with a test signal. SOLUTION: A fire alarm is provided with a self-holding circuit 69 which holds the transmission state of a fire signal by itself at the time of fire detection and artificial fire detection by a test signal from a remote tester and a reset circuit 70 which resets the self-holding of the self-holding circuit 69 a certain time after the artificial fire detection. The remote tester is provided with a test control part which sends test signals so that operation times by test signals of fire sensors connected to the same sensor line do not overlap with each other.
