The centrifuge (1) is mounted in a top frame section (3) which is resiliently secured to the bottom frame section (2) resting on the ground (O) on legs (4). A dewatering device for foodstuffs comprises a centrifuge mounted in a frame (2, 3), the centrifuge including a rotatable product holder filled with a given amount of foodstuffs from one side, a drive means for rotating the holder, and a discharge means for removing the contents of the holder from the opposite side from which it is filled. The frame comprises a first section on which the holder is mounted, and a second section resting on the floor on legs with feet (5), the legs being joined together by beams (7). The first section is resiliently secured to the second section. |
