PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, inexpensive, and small-sized rolled film housing unit and a scanner device. SOLUTION: A rolled film housing unit 2, which moves a rolled film forwards and backwards at a prescribed position, is used for a scanner device 1 which reads the pictures of the rolled film, and houses the rolled film before, and after the film is moved is provided with curved film guides 10 and 16 and a rotating member 13 at part of the guides 10 and 16. Accordingly, the housing unit 2 can smoothly house the roll film.
