PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable correct key macro registration by eliminating difference from the time of key macro execution by storing the state of respective operating keys, at starting of the registration of operation order of plural operating keys to a prescribed operating key together with the registration order of plural operating keys to be registered later. SOLUTION: An RAM 5 constitutes a storage means and stores various data, such as key macro registration data required for operation of facsimile equipment F. An ROM 6 previously stores a control program or the like. When starting the registration of operation order of plural operating keys to the prescribed operating key, the RAM 5 constituting the storage means records the states of various operating keys at that time, together with the registration order of plural operating keys to be registered later. When starting operation according to the operation order of plural operating keys registered to this prescribed operating key, a main control part 1 sets the states of respective operating keys into the states of respective operating keys registered in the RAM 5 by operating the prescribed operating key.
