PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide user friendly machine by enabling a change in the corresponding relation of an output bin and each function by registering the output bin corresponding to each prescribed function, and changing the initial value of the corresponding relation between the output bin and each function corresponding to the presence/absence of a detected prescribed function. SOLUTION: The presence/absence of a PDL function at present is decided, and when the presence of the function is decide, a PDL presence flag is set. As the initial value of a method for using a two-bin tray in the case of adding the PDL function to an output register circuit 24, information is registered via a signal line 24A so as to output the copy information to a second output bin 30, to output fax reception information to the second output bin 30, to output fax managing information to the second output bin 30 and to output printer information to a first output bin 28 respectively. The printer information is outputted via a signal line 20h to the first output bin 28, and when the fax reception information, fax managing information and copy information are outputted to the second output bin 30, the information is displayed on a function display circuit 26.
