PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the influence of a camera shake by constituting the camera so that suggestions for the way to rightly hold the camera in order to maintain a good holding state may be previously given to user. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a photographic lens for forming the image of a subject, the camera main body connected to the photographic lens, an outer packing member for covering the photographic lens and the camera main body. In this case, as for the outer packing member 2, the base covering part corresponding to the camera main body 4 and the base covering part corresponding to the bottom part of the photographic lens are worked with a member (rubber material) 1 having frictional factor higher than that of other surfaces.
