PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To damp vibration from the outside early without a damper wire by providing an elastic frame for fixing both ends of first and second grid element bodies to lay a color discriminating electrode in a stretched state. SOLUTION: A color discriminating electrode, that is, a grid structure body, comprises a first grid element body 23 with a groove 23g of specified width formed, and a second grid element body 24 fitted into the groove 23g. Both ends of the first and second grid element bodies 23, 24 are fixed to an elastic frame to lay the color discriminating electrode in a stretched state. With this constitution, dislocation is hardly generated between both grid element bodies 23, 24 in any way they are fitted to the frame. Since the second grid element body 24 can positively restrain the vibration of the first grid element body 23, the image quality of a color cathode-ray tube can be improved.
