PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connecting jig which connects optical fibers to each other by disposing their end faces opposite to each other, easily changes the color of the light transmitted by using the optical fibers and is capable of transmitting the light of various colors at a low cost by constituting the connecting jig described above in such a manner that the colors of the light are changed when passing between the end faces. SOLUTION: The optical fiber connecting jig 1 connects the optical fibers 2 and 3 by disposing the exit end face 21 of the optical fiber 2 and the incident end face 31 of the optical fiber 3 opposite to each other in such a manner that the light from a light source is transmitted from the one optical fiber 2 to the other optical fiber 3. The jig has a color filter 4 on the optical path between the exit end face 21 and incident end face 31 facing each other in such a manner that the transmitted light passes the same. The transmitted light past the color filter 4 is converted to its color by this color filter 4. The optical fiber connecting jig 1 is provided with a mounting recessed part 11 for fixing the color filter 4 in the position where light color conversion is possible between, for example, the exit end face 21 and the incident end face 31.
