PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely test a sensor even if the sensor wire voltage of a receiver and the rated voltage of a sensor adaptive to remote test are different. SOLUTION: The repeater 1 is equipped with a voltage converting means 10 which converts the source voltage supplied from a receiver through power lines (I+ and I-) into the operating voltage of a sensor S1 connected to sensor lines (SL and SC), a fire and disconnection detecting means 11 which detects the operation of the sensor S1 and the breaking of the sensor lines (SL and SC), a signal output means 12 which outputs a signal to the receiver 2 through sensor lines (L and C), a taster which is connected to terminals P1 to P6, and a test switching means 13 which connects at least one of the sensor lines (SL and SC) and the fire and disconnection detecting means 11 to permit an operation test of the sensor S1 adaptive to remote test and an operation test of the repeater 1.
