<p>A method of efficiently coating surfaces of solder alloy spheres by a vapor deposition process using a solvent-based coating solution including a low viscosity organic material and at least one solute, such as a surfactant. The method surface coats solder alloy spheres to minimize or eliminate physical and chemical damage to surfaces of spheres prior to use in surface mounting applications.</p> |
