H-TYPE BRIDGE CIRCUIT AND INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

An H-type bridge circuit for the drive of a position control actuator, which is capable of controlling minute current. The H-type bridge circuit includes a load connected between the outputs of first and second output circuits that produce first voltage (POUT) and second voltage (NOUT) complementarily in response to input signals (PWM1, PWM2). The output current flowing through the load is controlled to be zero by eliminating the differences in phase and pulse-width duty between the input signals (PWM1, PWM2) to the two output circuits. With reference to this condition, a difference in pulse-width duty is created between the input signals (PWM1, PWM2) so that the load can be supplied with a positive or negative output current the magnitude of which corresponds to the difference in the pulse-width duty.
