The unit (8) fits in a radial space in axial grooves of a rotor disc, which hold the foot (3) of a rotor blade (1). The unit is secured by radially-aligned sections (13,14) of a securing plate to the blade foot and the rotor disc for each blade. At least one recess (9) is formed in the blade foot and opens to the radial space of the axial groove, at which the radially-aligned sections of the blade engage the unit.
