PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural language retrieval support system which realizes natural language retrieval for the existing database that does not have a natural language retrieval function. SOLUTION: A registering part 11 extracts only a part defined by an extraction schema file 14 from the data of the existing database A that does not have a natural language retrieval function and transfers it together with a URL(uniform resource locator) being a reference destination in the database A to a natural language analyzing part 12. The part 12 performs natural language analysis of the data, makes the analyzed results correspond to the URL and stores them in an index database 15. Subsequently, when a retrieval sentence in a natural language is inputted through a browser B, the part 12 performs natural language analysis of the retrieval sentence and acquires a corresponding URL from the database 15 on the basis of the analyzed results. Then, the browser B refers to the data of the database A by using the URL acquired by the part 12.
