PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber fastener which shows a stable value in the optical characteristics such as return loss and connection loss satisfying the severe requirements of an analog transmission cable system or the like, and which is also inexpensive. SOLUTION: An optical fiber fastener 3 is constituted such that a ferrule supporting body 2 is joined to the rear part of a ferrule 1 having an axial hole 1a for fixedly inserting an optical fiber 11 in the center, that a tilted spherical surface 14 inclined against a surface perpendicular to the axial hole is formed on the tip end face of the ferrule 1, and that a display part for showing the inclined direction is formed on the ferrule or the ferrule supporting body in accordance with the inclination direction of the tilted spherical surface.
