PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of contact with an IC and a life as an IC socket, in the IC socket of sheet type. SOLUTION: In this IC socket 1 for connecting an IC 2 to an IC tester 3, conductive wires 7 are enbedded inside a thick-walled part of a base member 4 comprising an elastic insulating material, having a prescribed thickness and fonned into a sheet shape while exposing their one-portions in an upper face and a lower face of the base member 4, so as to form contact parts 8a, 8b, and the wires 7 are formed into a form having a spring property expandable vertically to be enbedded into the thickwalled part. Wire rods of the conductive wires 7 are prevented thereby from being curved, folded and exposed to enhance reliability of contact with the IC 2 and a life as the IC socket 1. |
