BI-DIRECTIONAL DC REGULATOR

The inventive DC regulator comprises a serial connection of at least two capacitors with at least one respective electronic switch connected in parallel thereto. Said switches are connected to a clock generator and can be simultaneously switched in parallel in a clocked manner and at least one capacitor or one switch can be impinged upon with an input DC voltage. The regulator can be of the cascade type. The invention also relates to a method of controlling the regulator of a single voltage level.
