The method involves statically charging a surface on which there is no electrostatic latent image. The surface is placed opposite to a surface on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and which is optically exposed. Alternatively, it is placed opposite to a non-developed surface between the end of an exposure process and before a development process using liquid toner. A development process using liquid toner is performed to form a toner image corresponding to a resistance pattern on the surface having an electrostatic latent image. An Independent claim is included for a liquid development method for manufacturing a printed circuit board.
