PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment that can easily retrieve speech contents desiring to be reproduced even in the case that a speech is recorded after dialing. SOLUTION: A telephone number entered with a ten-key 31 is transmitted to a line L in the case of dialing and stored in a number storage section 70. In the case of recording a speech, a date storage section 82 stores a telephone number and speech contents in pairs. In the case of reproducing speech contents, a display section 90 displays the telephone number and a loudspeaker 110 outputs the speech contents corresponding to the telephone number. Thus, in the case of reproducing speech contents, since the display device displays the telephone number and the name of the opposite party selectively, the user can easily select the speech contents desiring to be reproduced.
