PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical disk unit which prevents a flexible board from being sandwiched when a disk tray advances into a unit enclosure and in which a loading action can be performed safely and surely. SOLUTION: A wiper member 12 which is installed at a disk tray 3 so as to be displaceable is interlocked with the retreat action of the disk tray 3 when the disk tray 3 is retreated from a unit enclosure 2, it levels the surface of a flexible board 7 which connects the disk tray 3 to a control circuit board 6, and it prevents the flexible board 7 from being loosened. A guide member 13 which is arranged and installed on the course of the wiper member 12 mechanically guides the wiper member 12 so as to match the advance and retreat action of the disk tray 3. Thereby, the disk tray 3 can be guided smoothly to a disk driving position, and the flexible board 7 can be protected.
