Said balsam which is used to treat burns comprises a decongestant and a bland, a reconstructing agent for the epidermis, a demulcent, a membrane regenerator and/or protector, and other excipients. The invention is characterized in that it comprises peroxide oil having an occlusive, anti-inflammatory, antalgic function and acts as an agent promoting the oxygenation of cells. The invention is further characterized in that it also comprises tocopheryl quinone. The invention can be used in the treatment of surface burns and chafing rashes.
