Components(5) to be cleaned are loaded into a fluidized bed(2) of a fluid bed oven at a temperature initially below that of the polymer to be removed and then heated above the condensation temperature of steam. The bed is then fluidized with steam and slowly heated indirectly(3) to 400-500 deg C for final cleaning.
