The moving belt has a curved tread surface running between two deflector rollers (2) and possessing an adjustable radius of curvature corresponding to the length of the user's leg. The tread surface is formed by a crawler track in the form of a support belt (12). The surface o f the support belt facing away from the deflector rollers has transverse struts (10) preferably replaceable and between which are shock absorbing elements (4) which, beneath them, have lengthwise runners (14) fitted with rollers.
