<p>An apparatus for purifying blood, characterized in that, in the central part of a cylindrical centrifuge (7) for receiving a blood continuously and separating the blood into a hemocyte component and a plasma component, is provided a waste product separating chamber (9) for subjecting the separated plasma component to ultrafiltration and taking water, a serum electrolyte and a useless waste product within the chamber, and a water-reabsorbing module (11) for obtaining a purified plasma component by allowing a concentrated plasma component to flow therein, to thereby reabsorb the above water and serum electrolyte, is disposed within the chamber, and a purified blood is obtained by mixing the resultant purified plasma component with the hemocyte component separated by the above cylindrical centrifuge (7). The apparatus requires no chemicals as an organismic kidney, has a small size and is easy to handle, and thus can be used for carrying out blood purification in home.</p> |
