The correction concerns colour image data obained via two light sources in a unitary colour space system. Computer calculate the correction formula, corresp. to a difference of characteristics, between the two light sources. The light source difference corrector corrects the colour image data, corresp. to the correction formula. Pref. light source signal memories store the two light surface signals, corresp. to the second light source, while the colour image data from the first light source signals are obtained from the first light source signals. Correction controls decide a coincidence of the two light source, and start a light source correction on a differential decision.
