The invention relates to a method for reproducing information and to a corresponding system. When information from a first information source (15) is received, it is recorded. Then, in the absence of any information from an additional information source (20), the information from the first information source (15) is reproduced. If information from an additional information source (20) exists, this is reproduced in precedence over the information from the first information source (15). If, during the reproduction of information from the first information source, information from an additional information source (20) is received, the reproduction of information from the first information source (15) is interrupted and the information from the additional information source (20) is reproduced. Once the reproduction of the information from the additional information source has been completed, information which was not reproduced or was not fully reproduced from the first information source can be reproduced from the recording automatically, or on the initiative of the user. The inventive system thus allows a number of simultaneously received pieces of information from different information sources to be reproduced without conflict and leads to the improved comprehension and assimilation of information by the user.
