The storage container (10) has a device (11) that replaces the air within the container with a liquid or solid medium to reduce the buoyancy of the container. The device has a non-return valve whose blocking direction is outwards in relation to the storage container. The non-return valve is arranged diametrically opposite the storage container. An electrical level sensing system with a float is also included.
