<p>The procedure consists of filling a mould made from separate components (80, 82, 83) and a core (81) with a mixture of wood fibres (previously moistened with an aqueous solution of a chemical neutralising agent), cement and water, applying a pressure to the sides and top of the mould, but not its base, removing the top and sides and allowing the moulded material to dry on the base. The pressure is applied to the mould components for a period of 15 minutes to 1 hour. A plant used for the procedure has a hopper for the mixture, a transfer system, a mould and a press.</p> |
