<p>An apparatus for holding a heat exchanger core during a manufacturing process is disclosed. The core (30) includes first and second side support members (40) disposed on opposite sides of an assembly of a plurality of interleaved tubes (36) and fins (38) and fluid manifolds (42) on opposite ends of the tubes (36). The apparatus includes a pair of nested clamps (32,34) . One clamp (32) is disposed over the side supports (40) and the second clamp (34) is disposed over the fluid manifolds (42). The clamps (32,34) are easily placed over the core and easily removed after brazing.</p> |
