The hair prosthesis comprises a skullcap (1) having a spherical surface and covered partly by a polymeric net (7), whose meshes have a width between 4 and 6 mm, on which hair is fixed. The net has at least two reinforcing bands. One of them is a perimeter band (9), the other transverse bands (11) are arranged in contact with the skullcap surface (3) and are joined on two points of the perimeter.
